Conport Panel

The Conport Panel building has been used in over 40 countries since 1965 and is designed to be economical, relocatable and easy to transport and erect. Various options are available which can upgrade the basic package where the budget permits.

Steelwork

All steelwork is galvanised to BS2989 and fabricated to meet dimensions and layouts as shown on the drawings including pre-drilling where appropriate and all cleats, channels, bolts, nuts etc.

Size

Panel buildings are normally 7.2 m span by [variable] length in modules of 1.2m. Ceiling height is 2.4 or 2.7m. Roof pitch 10 degrees. Roof overhang at eaves 0.5m. Other spans are 3.6, 4.8 and 6m. Buildings can be linked with tunnels.

External Walls

Profiled galvanised steel sheets with white (or agreed alternative) pre-coated finish. "U" Value of exterior wall < 0.45 w/m2 deg K.

Interior partitions

12.5mm plasterboard on galvanised steel battens and channels.

Roof

Profiled galvanised steel sheets with white (or agreed alternative) pre-coated finish.

Ceiling

Exposed grid suspended ceiling with lay-in mineral fibre tiles and clips. 80mm Fibreglass quilt above ceiling.

Windows

Aluminium sliding windows with optional flyscreens.

Water Heaters

Insulated 100 litre water heaters with tripods.

Plumbing

All necessary pipework and fittings to provide the installations from incoming cold water mains supplying potable water at slab level to a drainage point 1m from building.

Service pipework

cPVC or Polybutylene hot and cold water pipework.

Underground/waste pipework

PVC or polypropylene pipe work together with all necessary traps gullies etc.

Sanitary fittings

White ceramic complete with all fittings.

Electrics

Prefabricated harness type wiring loom for distribution to power points, light fittings etc. Incoming main assumed to be 220v 50hZ with earth return supplied to a point within the building.

Flooring

All floors covered with Heavy duty vinyl tiles. Carpet tiles are available as an option. 100mm Black plastic skirting.

Prefab foundations

Optional extra. Galvanised steel grid with insulated vapour barrier, 18mm t&g flooring grade chipboard floor supported at 300mm centres and all fixings.

Options

We can supply furniture, air conditioners, linen, kitchen and laundry equipment, cutlery and anything associated with remote site camps.
