Building Dimensions

Design

Designed in accordance with "European recommendations for the stressed skin design of steel buildings".

Steelwork

All steelwork is galvanised to BS2989 and fabricated to meet dimensions and layouts as shown on the drawings including pre-drilling where appropriate and all cleats, channels, bolts, nuts etc.

External Walls

Profiled galvanised steel sheets in white liner enamel painted pre-coated finish.

Structural internal partition

Profiled galvanised steel sheets in white liner enamel painted pre-coated finish.

Roof

Profiled galvanised steel sheets in white liner enamel painted pre-coated finish.

Ceiling

Exposed grid suspended ceiling with lay-in mineral fibre tiles and clips. 80mm Fibreglass quilt above ceiling.

Windows

uPVC double glazed side hung outward opening windows.

External doors

uPVC external doors in frames together with all furniture.

Prefab foundations

Galvanised steel grid with insulated vapour barrier to give "U" Value < 0.45 W/m2 deg K, 18mm t&g flooring grade chipboard floor supported at 450mm centres and all fixings. Floors covered with Heavy-duty vinyl tiles. Carpet tiles are also available. 100mm Black plastic skirting.
