Economy of design and transport, minimal foundation requirements and ease of erection make Conport buildings the ideal choice for remote locations. Conport buildings are not “volumetric” cabins which each have to be transported on the back of a truck. Indeed, we can get the same square footage as 75 standard containers into one standard container.
Although our buildings need to be assembled on site, in many remote areas local labour for assembly is cheap – and local economies and people often need the work.
With our range of buildings, Conport can produce everything required for a remote camp – barrack blocks, bungalows, recreation blocks, kitchen/diners (See PSAB case study) , stores, ablutions – even generator housing.
