Conport has been providing Flospans to Sudan since 1985. The largest job has been 52 supplied in just three weeks.

These Flospans have been used to store bagged grain, many of them in Darfur in areas which are up to 2300 kms from the port.

Sudan suffers from Haboobs, which are a type of intense dust storm carried on an atmospheric gravity current. Plastic coated warehouses of the kind supplied by many agencies will blow down in these Haboobs. Flospans, well spiked to the ground, are ideal for storage in such a hostile environment.

Since 2012 Sudan has been divided into two countries. Flospans have been supplied to South Sudan under a P4P project to encourage local producers to grow, store and sell food thereby creating sustainable Food Security.

We have also supplied Uniports and Conport panel buildings in Sudan.
